Die in Regensburg geborene Künstlerin Renate Christin bekam ihre künstlerische Ausbildung an den Sommerakademien Salzburg und Milstatt und der Universität Haifa. Seit 1986 ist sie Leiterin des Internationalen Kunstforums Eichhofen.
